Emory Emergency Medical Service (EEMS) is a volunteer EMS organization that responds to emergency and 911-based calls in the Emory community during the academic year. In addition, we provide medical standby services for special university events. We are dedicated to providing high quality patient care with the highest level of professionalism and compassion.
EEMS has a strong commitment to community outreach and education. Ask us about CPR and First Aid courses available to the Emory community!
We hold an annual, in-house EMT Course so that we can continually staff EEMS with volunteers. In addition, we are now offering an EMR Course to University faculty and staff. The application for the 2018-2019 EMR Course is due October 8, 2018. The next EMT Course Application will be available in May 2019.

APPLICATION PROCESS CLOSED |
Due to the current COVID-19 situation in Georgia, and the resulting changes Emory University has had to make regarding classes and student housing arrangements, the 2020-2021 EMT/AEMT Course is being POSTPONED, and the Course Application process is being closed at this time. Emory EMS will be reevaluating the situation during Fall semester. If the University is able to allow for an expanded reopening of campus during Spring semester, then we will re-post the EMT/AEMT Course Application along with a new due date. Applicants who have already applied to the 2020-2021 EMT/AEMT Course may choose to submit an updated application, or they may notify us that they wish to use the application we already have on file from this summer. Instructions will be provided when the application process is re-opened. We will continue to provide updates as we have them. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support of our program! |
